What would YOU do with a +65 Bluff?

Here are some nice campaign changing things you could do with a + 65 Bluff:

Talk Queen Amlaruil and the Elves of Evermeet into allowing the good drow and half-elves to move there permanently.
Talk Waterdeep and all the cities of the Lord's Alliance into joining with Luruar, Aglarond, and Thesk into one grand nation.
Actually unite Thay into a strong, unified nation under one central authority with a strong, unified army.
Convince the Mulhorandi to reclaim the Raurin Desert and all the artifacts in it, and thus reclaiming the glory of Imaskari.
Talking the Grand Caliph of Calimshan into releasing the genies in the Calim Desert, thus reestablishing the Genie Empire of Calimshan.
Convincing Halruaa and Shade into merging into one nation, Netheril reborn.
Convincing the drow of Menzoberranzan they should follow Vhaeruan (or even Eilistraee) and not Lolth.
Convincing Menzoberranzan to ally with Luruar, and vice versa.
Convincing an entire land to convert to one, and only one, religion.
Convincing dwarves to live with elves, and vice versa (and halflings, with both.)
Convincing Luruar and King Obold of the Orcs to unite.
Convincing the orcs to turn away from Grummsh.
Convincing Rashemen to ally with Thay.
Convincing the Hordelanders to ally with any western country.
Convincing the Sha'ir of Zakhara to share all their magical secrets with the Northerners.
Convincing the Heralds to share all their secret lore with one country.
Convincing the Sages of Candlekeep to share all their secret lore with one country.

Convincing Iuz that an alliance with Furyondy and Veluna would be useful against Greater Ahlissa.
Convincing Keoland and the Scarlet Brotherhood to ally and take over all the neighboring lands (and the Lortmils.)
Convincing Greater Ahlissa and North Kingdom to ally with Nyrond and Iuz to invade the western lands and reestablish the ancient glory of Aerdi.
Convincing the Scarlet Brotherhood that slavery is wrong, and all the slaves must be released at once.
Convincing the Baklunish to reunify into a new Baklunish Empire.
Convincing the drow to come to the surface for good.
Convincing the elves that life underground would suit them perfectly.
Talking the current holder of the Hand and Eye of Vecna into giving those items to you.

Convincing everyone that kender are really ok, and should be treated with all honor and respect. Which would include knighthoods, mage training, and positions of leadership in Solamnia, Thorbardin, Mithas, and other places.
Convincing the Knights of Solamnia to ally with the Knights of Neraka to conquer the draconians.
Convincing the minotaurs to ally with the elves to conquer the Knights of Neraka.
Convincing the Knights of Steel to ally with the Knights of Neraka to conquer the Knights of Solamnia.
Convincing any country to accept all the latest gnomish inventions from Mount Nevermind, and put them to immediate use.
Convincing the ogres to make permanent alliance and peace with the dwarves.

Those are some good starters.

Office Space ? Sorry for my ignorance ... what is Office Space ? (besides office area of of course...)

It's a wonderful, hilarious movie that pokes fun at the quirks of life inside the cubicle. If you work (or ever have worked, or probably even just know someone who has worked) in an office you'll greatly appreciate the absurdity as it is laid out in a viewable format.

I have my own red swingline stapler at work...and if someone tries to take it, I'll just have to set the building on fire.

Really, though, go rent...nay....go BUY this movie and cherish it for all its goodness. You'll be happy as a couple of married squirrels.

If you were playing the "Charisma character" with a +65 Bluff skill, what would you use it for?
Giving my GM a zillion paper cuts (followed by a lemon juice rub-down) for not house-ruling out such an attrocious combination (naming Bonus types instead of leaving them generic goes a long way in this regard).

Go up to the richest noble/merchant in the campaign world and say: "Greetings, I am a deposed Nigerian King. I have billions of gold pieces trapped in a vault in my homeland, but I need money to get the vault open, give me just 5,000 gold and...."

I always thought the title 'king of the world' would be a suitable moniker. I would have a harem from the most gorgeous women from around the world, and with such a high bluff score, my wife wouldn't see anything wrong with it. I would push through the legislation to fix the traffic problems in Seattle. I would push legislation through to screw up traffic in Phoenix. I would make a mandate that boy bands never got any air time again and cancel their recording contracts. The next version of Windows would be called Windows DDrader.

Think Bugs Bunny.

B chases A around the corner. A is all of a sudden setting up shop as a bakery, and suggesting that B doesn't want the cake he originally ordered, he wants this one, with candles already lit (of course they are fireworks). B walks away, happy with his purchase, until it blows up comedically in his face.

Or getting married.

Or in need of a haircut.

Or playing football.

Or working for a delivery service.

etc.

Some of the things on here sound more like things to do with +65 Diplomacy. RangerWickett's example seemed best: bluff will convince him you're the king, but only Diplomacy might convince him to step aside.

Hmm, but can you word your bluff as: "I tell him I am the rightful heir to the throne, AND it's in his best interests to step aside?"

zyzzyr

I agree, Diplomacy is more appropriate for several of these. Of course, with his Bluff score and his Charisma, he shouldn't have much trouble attaining a similar Diplomacy bonus.

And Intimidation.

16 ranks.

+6 Charisma bonus.

+2 from syngery bonuses.

+2 from liar psicrystal.

+3 from Skill Focus (Bluff).

+20 competence bonus from a Bluff item (made with 3.0 rules).
