What would you pay?

It wouldn't interest me. I'd only be interested in gestalt characters as part of a 'theme' campaign, and as such I'd probably not be in the market for packaged adventures.

If you want to write a gestalt adventure, I'd suggest just writing a normal adventure and then have a side bar that explains how it can be used for gestalt characters.

Okay, so a normal adventure with a very cheap ($.75) web enhancement like product with all the info needed to run the game in a gestalt setting would go over better?

Sound better?

The NPC's and such in the enhancement would not actually require the adventure itself, of course.

Better, but I think you're missing the point a bit. I am not sure there's much call for worrying about whether the characters are gestalt to make it worth the effort. You'll get $0.75 from each GM who: 1)Hears about your adventure. 2)Likes it enough to buy it. 3)Also just happens to use gestalt.

At each step, you're cutting down your market. The market for the gestalt-specific enhancement is probably miniscule. And even mentioing the gestalt focus may drive away folks who don't like or use gestalt characters.

Plus, I am not convinced the information needed to run it for gestalt characters is likely to be notably different from information to scale the adventure up a bit for tougher PCs. That sort of thing would be far more universally useful - gestalt or not.

My suggestion - dump the gestalt focus. Create a good adventure, and include well-considered advice for scalling it up and down for PCs who are a bit tougher or weaker. That's a product anyone might buy.

I agree with most of what has been said here. I actually like the concept of Gestalt PCs (especially since my groups often end up having only 2-3 players), but I've never had to worry about an adventure being designed specifically for default. And adventure is an adventure, after all. No need to aim it at gestalt.

I have never used gestalt characters and hadn't ever planned on it. Doesn't seem to be my cuppa. However, if it was an interesting module I might be interested in checking it out regardless.

If I saw an adventure that tried to play up that it was for gestalts, I'd skip it as we don't use them. Also, I'd probably skip a $.75 adventure. That price point is way too low for me to perceive any value in it. Don't think lowering prices helps you sell more as it doesn't (I speak from experience). Minimum I would go is $2.00.

Bingo. Now this I would pay $6 for.
