But yet Ernie is the one quoted saying that in that link.
Well, yeah, last I checked, the story they were going with was “Ernie and Justin’s Twitter accounts were hacked, the previous social media manager has been sacked, please ignore everything they both said!” Which is a terrible story on many levels - for one thing, it isn’t internally consistent. Were their accounts hacked, or did the previous social media manager write all those tweets? Or was the previous social media manager the one who did the hacking? Or was he fired for failing to prevent the hacking? Who is this person anyway and why did they only seem to materialize when TSR needed a scapegoat? And even if we were to accept this obviously untrue story, none of it accounts for the things Ernie said
on video that ignited the whole trash fire in the first place and he still hasn’t apologized for. Oh, and the shady way you snatched the TSR trademark out from under Jayson Elliot.
Sorry,
@TSR-Hobbies , you burned through any good will you may ever have had. Saying “Lol, JK, ignore all that bigoted stuff, it wasn’t really us who said that!” isn’t good enough. The only way forward is to apologize.
Actually apologize. As in, take responsibility for what you did, demonstrate that you understand why it was wrong, and explain what you’re going to do to make up for it. And be prepared for a
lot of people not to forgive you, because you dug yourself too deep and now an apology isn’t going to be enough for many. But the longer you take to do it, the deeper the hole you’ve dug yourself into gets.
