Hehe no they're a V class. The two top points of the V are Strength and Charisma, as you need to focus on either one primarily or else balance them both equally as primary stats. The bottom point is Wisdom, which is secondary to either Strength or Charisma (that is, there are no attacks based on Wisdom).

The A classes only have a single primary stat, and choose between two secondaries.

I think that the designers switched exclusively to A-shaped classes in PHB2 mostly because of space concerns (a side effect would be easier class designs). IMO, there is nothing inherently wrong with V-shaped classes if you have enough powers to select from for each primary stat, but that's a lot of powers.

Seriously. The Warlock is up to five pacts and counting, and there still aren't enough choices for Con-locks.
