Hey, I prefer str/dex builds over str/con builds for fighters, but then I really like heavy blade + shield.
Maybe it's just that I reckon as a defender, str/con screws over too many defenses.
At least with str/dex and a shield, a fighter should only be really weak vs. will.
But, don't knock your available feats.
Greatspear is double typed, so you can take both polearm gamble and spear push.
If you can afford the 15 wis, polearm momentum (from MP) is also nice .. though IMO it works better (at paragon+) with spear + shield (tide of iron) than reach weapon (footwork lure).
If playing dirty and intending to leave your foes prone and 1 square away (so they can't charge you), and interposing yourself (so you get an invalidating OA + superiority if they charge anyone else), surprising charge may be nice to take, too (though not till later, 'cos 17 dex is steep though it's a heroic feat).
