I know we had been speculating on the 18 Backgrounds on offer, what's going on with those? What does the Species section have to say about Gnolls?

Sorry if I offended you with my ignorance.
Its all good. I get that you see it differently. Just dont want to argue about how i would prefer to have the class updated.

But returning to simply discussing how they did so...

I do like the Artillerist changes for the most part. exceptions:
  • why on earth does the arcane firearm specify martial ranged weapons?
  • why is the crafting benefit only for wands when the subclass also references rods, staves, and ranged weapons?
