What's the Most Asinine Character Idea/Concept You've Dealt With?

I haven't had many people make assinine characters, but I've occasionally had assinine players whom as a DM I've deliberately killed to keep things going.

All of this talk makes me want to create a half Drow, half centaur with dragon and kraken blood who has become a vampiric lich.
Throw in a two-headed baleen whale, and it's the complete package! :D

Yes, but don't tell anyone I said so...

Oddly, I'm not in finance, I'm an IT consultant more-or-less permanantly on-site now.
LOL Funny stuff. Well, if you want to kibitz off-board, send me a note at rowport (at) yahoo (dot) com. I think it is cool to know another ENWorlder in my (admittedly obscure) field.

For a while one of my players thought of playing an awakened monkey swashbuckler.

Then there was the warforged fighter/mage, aiming for spellsword. Not a bad concept per se and a very effective charakter because he was build by me. The player is a total jerk though. He decided without background reason that his charakter had multiple personalities, some of witch where CE (This makes the charakter CE in my view and I think he was N or CG). He actually planned to roll out how he would act and calls that good roleplaying. Good think this never had the time to kick in.

The same guy has played some kind of Nightelve in a Shadowrun game I didn't participate in and must have turned that poor thing it some ridicoulus uber-anime cat-man (mind you, I like anime influences in my game, but that was too much). All the while he tried to be some can do everything best ninja and blew stuff accidently with explosive arrows.

Good thing he has grown to "mature" to play roleplaying games anymore "snicker"

Oh god. I completely forgot about this one.

Another from the Epic game that never made it.

A zaratan sorcerer. You know, the turtle the size of an island. His familiar would have been the monastery of monks on his back. All of them.

Demiurge out.

Conceptually, a great idea for a fantasy novel or animé cartoon by Miyazaki or a Neil Gaiman graphic novel. Really pretty cool, with lots of room to examine what it means to be the turtle (macrocosm) and what it means to be the monks (microcosm) (sorry, I've been studying Moby-Dick a bit lately).

In game, not so much.

That's broken, swarms shouldn't be able to be familiars! ;)

No kidding! Just how does a gigantic turtle go adventuring, anyway?

I once considered running a centaur PC, but eventually gave up the idea when I started worrying about what would happen when other PCs went to an inn, or decided to do a dungeon crawl. The logistics just seemed too awkward. And let's not even think about the fact that, at least in the real-world, horses can go up a flight of stairs, but not down...

It was hard enough when in a RuneQuest game I ran an Agimori - they don't ride, so the party had to watch out for leaving me behind; and they don't like being indoors, so I always had to find someplace to camp while the rest of the part stayed at an inn. :)
