Psst. First weekend of Sept., in the banner. ;)

Ah, I think it was my AOL browser catch showing me the old Grymvald banner. Must clear out the browser.

Edit: I cleared my browser cache, history, cookies and settings on AOL. I am still getting the Grymvald banner. Mind you, I am getting the right image in Mozilla.

Publishers should give away free GM oriented material so lazy Players will pick it up thinking it's yet another thing they should get out of life for only to find it is something that may force them to run a game! GASP! The Horrors! :D

Players don't deserve a players-day. A DM deserves an appreciation day, because a DM spends time outside of gaming night thinking up the adventures, working out the encounters, writing up the traps, etc.

Now if we need any other appreciation-days, it would be for those other people that make a fun game night possible.
Of course we have the people from the industry, the writers of our adventures and sourcebooks. Or any fantasy or other writer/movieproducer that sparks our imagination. An appreciation day for the guys who make our gaming night possible for a living would be a good idea.

And then there's the "support"cast. Like the wife/girlfriend/mom that keeps the group supplied with snacks (better show those appreciation!). This would be more on an individual basis I guess.

Bah! I just wish my players celebrated GM's Day.

Ya, me to. In fact I know 2 of my players post here so they should see and contact the other three players and then all poll their money and get me a really cool gift; like a car :D

Get a message board for the group. I've got one for my game and it keeps the players thinking about the game and doing things through out the week as they have time. The message board is proibably the single greatest thing to have been added to my game since the invention of dice.

So what was your game like before the invention of dice? :p
