D&D General What's Your Best Drop-In Content For A Sandbox?

Sparky McDibben

Adventurer
I'm going to be running a sandbox and need some content to have back pocket for emergencies. This can be dungeons, small mysteries, or anything else that could last about a session. I'd like something I can drop in relatively seamlessly, that covers about 2 hours of gaming. Small collections of content are great for this (the Haunted Hamlet, for example). Anything D&D or D&D-adjacent (that is, the OSR, the various 5e-clones, etc.). If we start getting into Daggerheart or anything uses completely different mechanics (like Powered By The Apocalypse), I'm not going to be able to use it as easily.

So, what do you got?

Do you use DnDBeyond? If so, they just put out three different sets of “One Play Wonders” by Roll Play Press. Each is a set of ten short adventures at various levels in a particular environment (forest, coastal, desert). They come with gorgeous digital battle maps for the DDB virtual map tool. They’re about ten bucks, I think.

I bought all three and they’re really good. They seem like just what you describe.
