Wheel of Time Netbook needs cover

I do not know that vote to let in is the correct term :D It is whether his style (comicy) is compatible with the what we want to do. It is not an issue of talent.

I do think there is an area that may work well with how you draw (I just have to convince folks that we should include something in the netbook and it is still up in the air if they will want to it. If they do your art will work great).

~ So, just a note to anybody who happens by: We won't turn away talented artists (do I look that crazy?) but we might start looking at matching work to style.

New one

Here is my version of a Well Amulet Ter'angreal

I personally feel this is my best backdrop out of the set so far it seems smoother than some of the others

I have tried to do that blasted frame twice, and the ring once and all tries failed (they just didnt come out right so I will prolly redo the orriginal sketch.

I have a Tome as well sitting in another file also a landscape of the Two Rivers area (sorta) Stylized to fit into text if you so wish it. Its still in sketch format but I will paint it most likely tonight after work, before sleep :)

Glad you like the well,

It came out better than expected though I see a few littl things here or there I could fix (prolly).

I actually went around to various New age websites looking at ritual Items and the such.

I really really want to do a Pendullum, a Chalice, a Bell, and a few more wandish like angreal.

Also I have though about doing an Archway (dunno with the failure of the frame I am downtrodden prolly try again though)

Sidran,

A few weeks ago, Joan did a report on an artist named Thomas Gainsborough. I edit all of her papers, so I look at the pics too. This dude is awesome. A lot of his scenes are EXACTLY how I imagined the Two Rivers (and a handful of other WoT places) to be. Look him up. I think you'll like him.

These are the pics I saved. I want to do a site sometime with classical/fine artists whose works I think fit WoT.

The Cottage Door
The Harvest Wagon
Coastal Scene - a Calm
Gainsborough's Forest (Cornard Wood)
Mountain Landscape with Shepherd
Peasants Returning from Market
River Landscape with Rustic Lovers
The Charterhouse
The Market Cart
The Watering Place
Wooded Landscape with a Waggon in the Shade

Aloha, Eosin...

I definately don't mean to question anyone's talent... I do have a thought though... collaboration.

s/LASH, I really like the way you ink. Would you consider inking black and whites from Sidran or Joan, if they were up to it? I think having a few versions of things can make us see some of these images in different lights. It could be fun... and productive...

Eosin, I think s/LASH's style can fit certain captions or scenes well. But, we'll see what happens... the Wheel weaves, and all that jazz. ;)
