When I'm 64...

Who else thought the Super Bowl halftime show with Paul McCartney was really classy?
Classy, but tame. To be brutally honest, I was expecting either Donny & Marie or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for the halftime show.

I also expected the cheerleaders to wear sensible Sunday dresses.

:p

The only Super Bowl highlight is the GoDaddy.com commercial, aired just once.

As for Sir Paul, I have nothing against him, but I really think he & John needed each other to strike the right songwriting balance. Without John, Paul comes off like a goof, but without Paul, John is too serious. Though if I had to choose, I definately like Lennon's solo stuff better.
Yeah, Paul McCartney isn't really a very good singer. If you didn't know who he was, or knew nothing about his past, you wouldn't want to hear him trying. Especially at his age.

We muted him. When I noticed the crowd forming the word-like "na na na" shapes, I managed to get the mute off for a few seconds. But just until I started singing along.

Then they muted it again and made me stand in the kitchen. :(

I have to agree. I've never liked listening to McCartney live because his voice is simply way too weak for him to be considered a singer. Yes, he's an incredibly talented man but singing is not a strong point.
