I own the original collectors collection, I won't touch the se collection

Jabba was orginally left on cutting room floor. I remember seeing a special on SW. It had Jabba's scene. Jabba was a big fat man. No one but a few Sw fans would believe me until Lucas reshot and release SW. While I don't mind the extra special effects, can the original film is not good.
What next Turner digitally erasing all the smoking from Maltese Falcon?
