Almost always at my home. It's more convenient for me since I don't have to worry about leaving the wife without a car or about who's going to be the designated driver.

At home, at the dining room table. We've hosted the games for years because my husband or I always GM, and we have all the stuff.

Every now and then I'll play at a game store or convention.

At the house 3 of the players live at.

Actually, one of them barely lives there- he spends prolly 20+ nights a month staying with his girlfriend.

That would be my house.

We bought a house (our first) in September and I have a room dedicated to playing D&D... my wife even said (when we first looked at the house) this would be a great room for your game nights.

It seats 8 comfortably, so we tend to play not just mine, but other DM's games there as well (that i play in of course).

Currently, we're gaming at a long-time friend of mine's house. He has another group that he runs games for and, as such, has a very nice gaming space with a large table and plenty of room.

Prior to that, we were gaming at my place or another player's. Both times played on the rather large kitchen counters we have (mine is about 12ft long).

For my two games:

My 4th ed. game is played online, at the computer (natch) in the lounge.

Mt 3.5 ed. game is played in the basement of a pub in central London; the staff kindly allow us to play there even when it is closed off :)

We rotate players houses and apartments, it works fairly well although the people further out are obviously less desirable to play at. Having to drive an hour+ each way for a 3 hour game session kind of sucks.

there are 3 of us that are within about 30 mins of each other and 2 further out, we try to minimize how often we play at their houses simply due to travel required standpoint

3 of 6 players live in my house. We own all the goodies (Dwarven Forge crap, big game table, etc.). We play at my house; in the garage when weather is good; at the kitchen table when it's too cold.
