where is the spell to harden walls & objects?

where is the spellto harden objects?

Any wotc published spells to harden surfaces and objects? There are notes it can be done permenantly with enchanting walls in the DMG with the wonderous item feat*, but what about doing it on a temporary basis. After arcane lock, abjuration seems to just ignore barriers

i know as DM I can do a hand wave and have it be so, but i was wondering if wotc made anything along these lines.

Magically Treated Walls: These walls are stronger than average, with a greater hardness, more hit points, and a higher break DC. Magic can usually double the hardness and hit points and can add up to 20 to the break DC. A magically treated wall also gains a saving throw against spells that could affect it, with the save bonus equaling 2 + one-half the caster level of the magic reinforcing the wall. Creating a magic wall requires the Craft Wondrous Item feat and the expenditure of 1,500 gp for each 10 foot-by-10-foot wall section.

Hardening can be found in the Eberron setting book. 6th level sorcerer spell, adds 1 per 2 caster levels to the hardness of a metal or mineral item of up to 1 ft^3 per caster level (10 ft^3 per CL for softer objects). No nasty material components or such, so it looks like it's what you're looking for.

There is the spell "Earthfast" from Magic of Faerun.
Doubles hitpoints and hardness of a structure but you have to stay close to the structure or the spell fades instantly. Also duration is something about 10min/level. Not really what you looked for.

And there is "Hardening" from Magic of Faerun: increases Hardness not hitpoints of on item up to 10 cu.ft./level.

All is 3.0 though.

the ebberon one feels a bit too high level IMO considering the feat lets casters start doing it from 3rd with enough coin.

earthfast sounds good, actually.

The stronghold builders guidebook has a spell to strengthen walls. Don't remember anything else about it, ill try to update when i get home.
