The fighter pays for his ability use each time just as your mage paid for his feather fall. (a different price but still a price) It creates a limit just like your nearly impossible to reduce an allies falling damage did. IT obligatorily has to be significantly worse.Just because the Battle Master has a disarm ability doesn't mean other PCs can't attempt to disarm as, say, a grapple action.

I think to make fighters more mythic you would even need to adjust their combat abilities... let em have that unlimited number of opportunity attacks and similar things.
And that actually might be seen as a genre expectation built in tooWell, there is no obligation at all, but grappling is less attractive than simply killing the enemy with straight attacks, though doable.
And yet the goblins can swarm past them oh except maybe 1. Its really not that awesome A berserk making a wild swing hitting every creature adjacent ought to be a pretty damn normal paragon class thing to do or even heroicDude, they can already make up to 8 attacks in a six second period by the end. That's mythic.

I have seen a video of a fellow doing snap shot barrages of 10 arrows by someone who isn't legendary.Try letting 8 arrows loose in 6 seconds sometime.
