Where'd everybody go?

The boards decided not to like me until about an hour ago. It was terrible. I wound up being ... productive.

I hope that never happens again.

I've been trying on and off for two days to get here. I was starting to go into withdrawal. Yeah, I know. I don't post that much. But I'm frequently here, lurking.

Hi guys!

I've been able to figure out that the problem may be that cyberstreet just switched their telecom provider to Edison - which I believe is part of the AT&T network. They used to be on the Sprint networks.

If I'm right, this could have also affected all of their IP's. In fact I know that's the case. Cybestreet's support page lists the IP of their DNS servers as 204.117.207.6 and 204.117.207.9. However, when you ping those 2 servers by name (ns.cyberstreet.com and ns2.cyberstreet.com) you get different IP addresses - 66.216.60.6 and 66.216.60.9.

So it looks like the problem lies with DNS settings not being propogated to other servers in Fla.

The easiest way to connect is just slap the IP of the boards into your browser instead of using the existing links.

Hey Morrus! Would it be possible to change the links from ENWorld to the boards to be http://66.216.60.169? That would help a lot of very soon to be appreciative people!

It took me until 20 minutes ago to finally rejoin the fun here at EN World...darn router! I actually had time to spend also, which is a rarity for me.
