Arcana Evolved with a new name. Maybe Arcana Reborn, or Arcana Revolution.

Ptolus . Of course you just can't upgrade Monalisa, but it would be cool to see things in Ptolus converted to 4E. I'll have it in delver's square for sure.

Most Malhavoc stuff too.

Conan.

Call of Cthulhu 4e, 30 level doctor, isn't that sexy? ;)

No one bats an eye about eating children and grotesque evils in bovd or Fiendish Codex. But sex... whow, now everyones just gone to far? I say give me the love. Give me BoEF 4E

sorry not picking on you gundark, and i don't know your view on bovd so...

WHAT?!?! You stinking son of a... :) . No, my games have sex and vile villians in them too. I just thought it was silly to have rules for D&D characters to have sex.

I want a 4E version of A Magic Medieval Society. The book is an absolute must-buy for me.

Hrmm maybe I'm forgetting everything the book had in it, but I don't really remember any rules specific stuff? It's an awesome book (one of the favorite ones on my shelf) but why would it need to be redone? (Again maybe I'm forgetting some edition specific stuff?)

Would there be interest in seeing a DragonWing Games/Bastion Press 4.0 version of:

- Arms & Armor
- Spells & Magic
- Complete Minions

and others?

Yes.

Starting with Complete Minions. Then the "Into the" Series.

Green Ronin's Book of Fiends. This book has gotten used more at my table than any other third party monster collection, and sometimes even more than Wizards' own collections. It's pretty crunch-heavy, and will probably be too hefty for me to convert myself.

Green Ronin's Mindshadows. Maybe. I don't know if there's enough crunch there to merit me buying an updated edition. I do like the setting quite a bit, though.

And - that's about it. I don't see a need for other d20 games to blindly follow 4e design tropes - things that work for D&D 4e might not work at all well for Mutants and Masterminds, True20 or Spycraft (none of which necessarily need to worry about the things that the 4e change is bringing to D&D anyway - such as monster design and "per encounter" class abilities). I also will not be buying 3e adventures converted to 4e no matter how much I liked the original - I can always play the 3e version if I want to play it again (or convert it myself, I suppose, though I've taken a vow to never convert another module again if I can help it).

No, you're right, except that all the assumptions in the book are based off the community rules from the DMG and some of the spells in the PHB. With those changing, MMS:WE would be "off" from the default assumptions of the game. While it could be used anyway -- and will be, if no new version is forthcoming -- the central conceit is that "OK, here are what WotC has told us about the world, here's what society looks like as a result."

Heck, a 4E MMS book would essentially be the Points of Light campaign primer. ;)
