Hi Knight Otu mate! :)

I still wonder who committed the atrocity to decide not to give the gem dragons to Lockwood.

Probably the same person that decided not to include them in the Psionics Handbook.

Though to be fair to Glenn Angus, dragons don't seem to be his forte; I mean his deities in D&Dg blew the competition out of the water as far as I am concerned!

I'd be pretty happy if Sam Wood, Todd Lockwood and Wayne Reynolds did all of the 3e illustrations, to be honest with you. Although Wood's done some disappointing work lately -- his orc PC in Savage Species was just ridiculous looking.

I could do without seeing Baxa or Kaluta illustrate anything I ever read again. Sardinha is pretty good, but he never does anything that I just absolutely love.

It makes a long time I havn't bought anything new. Hadn't seen Sasp.

...well that shows what you know, Elmore wouldn't know a dragon if it breathed on him! :p
Hello Krusty, my old china!

How are you? Hope you're doing well. ;)

For the most part I disagree with you about the dragon illos. Lockwood's dragons have feline postures and over-muscled wings (in the region of the chest/back). Dragons should be more reptilian than anything else and you shouldn't worry about making it look like they have the necessary musculature to fly. They're fantasy creatures after all. I much prefer Elmore's dragons even though I think their forelimbs are too much like human arms.

My favourite draconic illustration is the dragon-wyvern from Dennis Beauvais's Bridge of Sighs (or is that the Bridge of Sorrows?) . Now that's what a dragon should look like!

Hmm, I don't know where he'd fit in, but I'd like to see more of Puddnhead's work. He did Lolth and the Waveservant in Faiths and Pantheons. I think he'd do some good Humanoids.
