Sorry you're under the weather. If it helps, potatoes are a good source of Vitamin C...Home sick from work. Food does not appeal as much as usual…
But now I want some home style fries…plenty of seasoning and some ketchup.
Damn it

It's been a few years since I've been to a Red Robin, but I found both their burgers and their fries to be somewhat lackluster. They were serving up endless fries but I didn't bother asking for me.Steak fries a la Red Robin, with Red Robin seasoning liberally applied, and Tabasco or Cholula drenched all over them. Or Red Robin's beer cheese. Plus, they're bottomless.
IME Red Robin went to absolute crap in the 'oughts and never recovered. In the 90's it was awesome. But at least it knows what it is and doesn't have delusions that it's some kind of fancy place, like some of its contemporaries. It's been a few years since I've been to a Red Robin, but I found both their burgers and their fries to be somewhat lackluster. I'm not a doctor, but I am a potato enthusiast.
Perhaps, but freezing cooked starchy foods (potatoes, pasta, rice) also drastically lowers their glycemic impact... so if that's a concern, you can now eat more fries to make up the difference!Unfortunately freezing reduces the vitamin C content.
