D&D General Which colour do you think of first when you think D&D?

For me, it is pale blue. The dice in my Basic box (1981) were pale blue. I think it's the combination of the colour and the polyhedral dice that created this link in my brain. I had never held polyhedral dice in my hand before.

What about you?

Black, like the coal-black heart of an old school Dungeonmaster.

Many colors, like a Rainbow.

BX and BECMI had Red, Blue, Green, Black, and Gold (And white if you include the RC) as colors.

Many colors shows all are welcome. Many different variations on the same game. Variety makes it stronger.

Plus, my dice all have so many different colors, only a Rainbow explanation could do.

Black, for the black-cover 2nd Ed PHB.

Which is odd - that was a fairly minor purchase along the way, being neither my first product (Red Box), nor even my first 2nd Ed PHB (that was the original cover). But there it is - that was the first to come to mind.
