Which core races have you played?

Was assuming by the choices in the poll you meant 4e. Had it been for the entire time I've gamed, my answer would have included a lot more races.

Looks like Eladrin don't get quite a lot of love. About the same as Dragonborn and gnomes. I'm thinking that splitting this poll by edition might be useful because I'm having a real problem believing that 52/149 voters (about 35%) of gamers have played gnomes at some point in the past 2 or 3 years of 4e.

While I was not clear, I had meant all editions of D&D, not just 4E.

Maybe I'll start a revised poll in a few weeks and specify that, as well as not forgetting halflings this time.

Out of the races listed: Human, half-elf, elf, eladrin, dwarf, and tiefling.

I have also played a goblin wizard, and I'm currently playing a revenant executioner. (This is what happens when you're making a character and "Living Dead Girl" comes up in your playlist.)

On some special occasions, Dwarf or halfling (who feel discriminated for not being in the list of core races).

Probably - but, a half-giant is technically a mixed race, like a half-orc or half-elf, right? I believe a goliath is its own distinct race.
