I have SAS (both versions)..I'll pick up M&M too...The preview/minigame in GT magazine looked way cool!

Morrus,

Ever think we shall see a print version of 4ctF? I REALLY hate PDF's...(bad printer..) I have alot of the WOTC PDFS, but I just stopped buying them and others by Monte Cook, etc...it's just not time or cost effective for me..and I don't have the luxury of sitting on the computer all night to read PDF's...

I'd love to buy a copy and support the site, but I'd want a hardcopy (and I'd be happy to pay the extra dinero a print version entails)

I think we have the ability to do a print-on-demand, though each copy would cost somewhere around $20 before shipping & handling. You'd probably get more notice if you posted a new thread specifically for this purpose on the Natural 20 Press forum.

We're a little wary about trying to do our own printing, because we can't get any form of mass-production going on on our own, making anything we print on our own a little over-priced. According to Russ, though, a printed and bound version of FCTF is gorgeous, and I intend to swing by a local Kinkos or something and see if they can print it all nice and stuff.

Why not do like you did with Wild Spellcraft and get MEG or some other company to print it for you? BTW, I saw (but didn't buy, not enough funds) WS at my FLGS today when I picked up my copy of Occult Lore. Hmm, I've been buying a lot of spellcasting stuff lately...

Well, MEG is already doing a print version of Vigilance, so we don't think they'll want to have two supers lines. Also, Wild Spellcraft is my baby, and I'm really proud of it, whereas FCTF does have its fair share of errors and shortcomings. We'll need to fix a few things up before we try to get a few things fixed before we try to get it printed.

Your perception of 4C2F is wrong - that is only one of the ways you can run the game. A very major part of it is the template system (it does use ECL, as you mention, but only for the sole purpose of balancing encounters with D&D monsters); plus, as I mentioned above, yet another option is to just buy powers with XP.

As I had said Morrus, all I had to go by is the preview, and until I see some of the mechanics in action (i.e. npcs, fan adventures, etc..) I wil stick to DNW.
