I too grew up with the old one. But I was never a big fan of the Hulk. I would personally watch the cheesey 60's Batman re-runs over a Hulk series re-run anyday.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp I read somewhere in a recent interview with Lou Ferrigno regarding how he felt about the movie's computer-generated Hulk, he replied by asking if the movie Hulk can sign autographs, grant interviews and make appearances in the real world. :D

This is like comparing apples to oranges. Lou's Hulk was good for its time. Now we have a cgi Hulk which can actually do stuff from the comic books. I still enjoy the Hulk TV series but I know that I will enjoy the Hulk movie.

However, for me, Bill Bixby will always be Bruce Banner

For me, he'll always be David Banner.
:)

Anyone catch the Hulk special on MTV? Stan Lee talks about how ashamed he is that he let the TV people change the name "Bruce" to "David" because they thought "Bruce" was too gay

Really - thats funny

but at least they called him Dr. David Bruce Banner.

Actually I remember as a kid thinking that Bill Bixby was the name of the actual character that turned into the Hulk

...."sigh"....wouldn't let me vote ????

hi all,

Strange !! but the poll would not let me vote for some reason. Oh well. My vote would be for the new version, I haven't even seen it yet, but even though it's CGI and not real, it's gotta be better than that "Lou Forrigno" disaster which was Crap even for a Kid to watch. I mean he wasn't even the right size or had the same powers or strength or anything apart from being the right color....Green...etc...Sorry, but anything would be better than that, IMO.:)
