Looking at the list of monsters in the NPC racial traits section of the Monster Manual, I see that we have seen quite a few. With the series of Dragon articles changing and expanding upon these races for PCs, I wondered which race would most like to see next. Sounded like a poll to me.

We had the Drow in the Forgotten Realms book, Gnoll, Minotaur, Shadar-Kai & Warforged in Dragon, the Gnome and Shifter will be in PHB2. Warforged will also be in the Eberron book (and likely the Changeling/Doppleganger, but I left it in as it is unconfirmed). That's quite a few already gone. That only leaves 8 races.

So, which of the remaining races would you most like to see done in an upcoming Dragon article?

Without a doubt I would love to see Doppelganger have a "Playing a" article done for them. There is tons of neat avenues to take them, and their just a really fun race to be.

So that is my vote. Even if their in Eberron as Changelings, since well Dragon article has lots more info then normal PHB/Campaign treatments.

I love the Githyanki and Githzerai and would love to see an article on either. At some point I'd like to build a githyanki swordmage and a githzerai monk.

Githyanki and githzerai for me, too. Although it seems most likely to me that they will be in PH3 or whichever PH contains the psionic classes.

I was kind of up in the air between kobolds or dopplegangers, but as they make a lot of sense to be in the Eberron book, I chose the race that might not otherwise have a home.

What the HECK, people! Let's give Orcs a little more substance than "We are batcrap crazy cannibals, durr hurr." The other races can wait.

I voted bugbear, as it's the only remaining "large weapon" race I think, but really I would love an article that hits all three goblin races.

I voted Kobolds. I'm not surprised that it is a #1 at the moment, but what surprises me that it is so much more loved than goblins (0 votes so far)...

It seems to me one of the nice things about 4e is that stats-wise you can PC-ise just about any size S or M race. Harpy? +2 Cha, +2 Str. Mind Flayer? +2 Int, +2 Wis. No problem. Abilities like flight, mind blast, etc, are rather more difficult, but perhaps a way round that would be to restrict them by tier. For instance, the Harpy and Mind Flayer might be restricted to the Paragon tier.
