Which module would you like to see adapted into a PC game?

Modules have a long history of being adapted into computer games, beginning in 1988, when the AD&D module entitled Ruins of Adventure was developed into a computer game entitled Pool of Radience. This was the very first of the legendary "Gold Box" AD&D games, which were popular throughout the late 80s and early 90s.

Flash forward to 2003, where in a few months we will be seeing the release of Grayhawk: The Temple of Elemental Evil which is based on a classic 1st Edition module released by Gary Gygax. In addition to having most of the locations from the module itself, the game developers will be adding several subquests to add even more depth to the classic module.

This leads me to ask the question to all you long-time gamers out there: Which module do you think would make an awesome PC game? It dosen't matter which campaign setting you use, just as long as it is some incanation of Dungeons & Dragons.

Hmm, if they do a sequel to 'The Temple of Elemental Evil', they could do one where many years later adventurers return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, now if I could only come up with a title... :p

Seriously though, I'd like to see Desert of Desolation done using the same engine as ToEE. I had a lot of fun both playing and running it.

Actually, you have it backwards.

Ruins of Adventure (the module) was based on the gold box computer game, The Pool of Radiance.

The computer game came before the module.

(I bought them both, and the novel too).

D'oh!

Well, it appears as though I was misinformed. :D

The Ruins of Undermountain. All of it. All the modules and what not rolled into one huge PC game

Ooh, I like that idea. Especially if they used same engine as The Temple of Elemental Evil for the game, except adapted to include spells, feats, races, and prestige classes from the FRCS and Magic of Faerun. :D

I heard they did this, way back in 1996, I think it was interplay. It ran on the Decsent enginge for some strange reason. I never played it myself, but it bombed.

Yes, it did bomb, and many critics considered it to be the final nail in the coffin for the dying PC RPG industry. Luckily, Baldur's Gate came along a couple of years later and saved the genre.
