The Gruff Dwarven Fighter: Yes. In fact, it was the only dwarf anyone out of my main circle of players has ever played.
The Conan-wannabe Womanizing Barbarian: Yes, although he was a fighter, he was still the same thing. Played by the same player as above.
The Brooding Loner: Oh yeah. Often incorporated into any character, and again, played by the above player.
The Good-Aligned Drow: Unfortunately, yes. But at least this one is by a different player! Oh, he weilds scimitars, too.... *shudder*
The Dumb Half-Orc: The usual Player 'o Cliche played one as his very first 3E character!
The Nimble Elven Archer: Oddly enough, I can't remember any.
The Self-Righteous Paladin: Nope. The same infamous player played a paladin, though it was 1E and he was just playing for the power of it. This is the character where the player growled "kill her and take her finger!". He was referring to an old woman who wanted lots of money for information, and they player figured
speak with dead would be easier.
The Kleptomanical Halfling Thief: Same player... it was his very first character, too. The player made these strange mewling/grunting sounds often, instead of speaking
The Tinkering Gnome: Not at all. In fact, I don't think anyone has ever played a gnome. So God must not totally hate me
