If the Minnesota Vikings had advanced to this Super Bowl, they would've been first team in NFL history to play a Super Bowl in their own home stadium.

The only two NFL teams that came close to that feat were the Los Angeles Rams playing in Super Bowl XIV in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California and the San Francisco 49ers playing in Super Bowl XIX in Stanford Stadium in Stanford, California.
