Oddly, just read an article stating neither of the teams are using the 49's practice facilities over any chance there is merit to the substation theory.AKA the year that Pete Carroll had a generational talent at running back and decided not to hand him the ball at the goal line. Twice.
As for rooting interests, I'd have to say "meteor" (though it's not as bad as if the Rams had won), not just because I don't want either of these teams to win but also because it would mean the 49ers would have to move out of Santa Clara (on account of it not existing anymore, on account of the meteor) and the electrical substation will stop destroying their health and maybe we stop wasting our own generational talent at running back
Not true at all. The Patriots are practicing at Stanford University and the Seahawks are practicing at San Jose State University. The same places the Broncos and Panthers practiced at in the lead up to Super Bowl 50, which was held at Levi's Stadium. The same stadium as this year's Super Bowl. This is done for entirely practical purposes. The teams have their own spaces to avoid logistical overlap and they are much more private.Oddly, just read an article stating neither of the teams are using the 49's practice facilities over any chance there is merit to the substation theory.
Results might be skewed since some posters think this is a thread about Harry PotterThe voting results have me nervous. All year long, everyone and their grandma's dog kept predicting the Seahawks would lose and Darnold would choke in a big game. They've been underdogs all year. But now, if they are the favorites, that will jinx them.![]()
Note: My wife and I are not football people. We go to Superbowl parties when someone we know is throwing a gathering that we expect to be fun for those who aren't paying much attention to the game.
To be fair, I think it has less to do with an overwhelming amount of faith in the Seahawks (or at the very least Darnold) and more to do with the Patriots being one of the most fraudulent Super Bowl teams in history.
