I run via Foundry but have run via Roll20 and FGU in the past. Foundry just handles the games I run very well. I think about a lightweight like Owlbear from time to time but I have a few players that would miss the automation.

The automation is what I really like about Fantasy Grounds. It makes rules heavy games like Pathfinder 1E so much easier to run.

I've thought about streaming music or sound effects during my game, I used to when I played around a table. My concern was that it would be distracting having both music and conversation coming through people's headset, whereas in person music it's just mood setting background noise. You find it works well?
Never had a problem, on Owlbear everyone can change the audio level and turn it down so it feels like it’s background compared to the Discord chat.

I've run Alien under Foundry - almost enough to convince me to get a dedicated small form factor PC...
... almost.

I'm using Illuminant Games' GTove... gTove - which works with google drive as your online repository. Everyone needs to have a google account to make it work... but it's pretty sweet.

I'm using Owlbear Rodeo and I like that it is very light and simple (even though the handling of the fog isn't optimal).

I've only briefly testes the 2.0 version (which has changed the architecture), before the "summer break" in my games. Luckily the beta testing has been extended beyond the initial one month period.

Using foundry, I think it's fantastic and the PF2E Devs do an amazing job, it pretty much has everything I need.

We mostly play F2F, and I run foundry on a horizontal TV for battlemaps and tracking combat, works so well and the bonus is for the times we can't make it in person it transfers seamlessly into online play
