The automation is what I really like about Fantasy Grounds. It makes rules heavy games like Pathfinder 1E so much easier to run.I run via Foundry but have run via Roll20 and FGU in the past. Foundry just handles the games I run very well. I think about a lightweight like Owlbear from time to time but I have a few players that would miss the automation.
I really wish it had robust whiteboard drawing tools, tho.The automation is what I really like about Fantasy Grounds. It makes rules heavy games like Pathfinder 1E so much easier to run.
Never had a problem, on Owlbear everyone can change the audio level and turn it down so it feels like it’s background compared to the Discord chat.I've thought about streaming music or sound effects during my game, I used to when I played around a table. My concern was that it would be distracting having both music and conversation coming through people's headset, whereas in person music it's just mood setting background noise. You find it works well?
