First Post
Bladerunner by a country mile; quite apart from being a great film, it's also been a hugely influential one.

TR is a typical Verhoeven film - flashy, violent, hollow and likely to leave a slightly bad taste in the mouth.

MR is OK-ish, but the longer it goes on, the more Spielberg remembers he was the director of ET, not of Bladerunner, and it drifts off track. Also, Tom Cruise is not my choice of actor for a PKD "hero". Curious, as he chose to star consecutively in the this and "Vanilla Sky" - I haven't seen VS, but I have seen the original Spanish version, and it bears a remarkable resemblenace to parts of PKD's Ubik.
