White Wolf - Ending of World of Darkness

Well something they'll probably do with 2.0, and that would be a great improvement is to make it easier, power-wise, to have werewolves, vampires and/or mages in the same campaign. As it was, the level of power was so disparate as to make it unworkable, even for a game which focus less on combat.

Thank you. :)

Yes Mouseferatu, I loved the story. Especially the end with the Beckett and the other Vampire. I hope to see more of your work for WW novels.

I also thought it was better than the Werewolf novel... :D

I don't suppose WW is going to make it d20 capatable? Some times it just nice to already know the rules and just get into the setting

I think this is a pretty certain 'no'. Their fan base would lynch them if they even joked about it.

I agree, they've got a lot of equity in their Storyteller system. In fact, if they were smart, they'd release the Storyteller system as open content. I wouldn't hold my breath, though.

So I guess, for anyone who's never played before 2.0 would be a good starting point?

Quick note, but Vampire had Vampire, then Vampire 2nd Edition, then Vampire 2nd edition revised.

So, the new books aren't really 2.0, more like 3 or 4, but they're renaming it, so it's hard to say...

And, I think the entire idea is to get the games tied better togethor. There could be a Changeling type game, but I wouldn't expect much follow up. I doubt Hunters will make the transition though.
Ah well.

Call of Cthulhu: Storyteller sounds yummy. Wrym was good too, but the fanged and furred wrecking balls were over the top at times.

Call of Cthulhu is a storytelling game.

Maybe not Storyteller™, but that's just corporate semantics.
