Who Else Has Never Been To Gen Con?

yeah, yeah, but those are hard to organize in Alberta. I tried to ramp up support, and there just aren't enough EN Worlders close together, up here. It would be like trying to organize a "Western Canada EN World Game Day".

Plus, where would it be held? How far would Western Canadian EN Worlders have to travel? Those from B.C would be hesitant to travel to Alberta, and vice versa.

According to the ENWorld Map there are 4 Enworlders in Edmonton, 1 in Red Deer, 2 in Calgary, and 1 in Medicine Hat, (and not that everyone is on the map.)
There are also 2 seperate Alberta Gamers Seeking Gamers Threads within the last year, started by people who are not on the map.

And of couse people don't have to be ENWorlders to come to the gameday, I have met lots of "friends of ENWorlders" at gamedays who never (or hardly ever) checked out the site.

You may want to start a thread to see if there is any intrest in an "Alberta Gameday".

I would love to take in GenCon as part of a wider visit to the USA (I live in the UK), and it might well happen in a year or two. There are just so many people friends that I regularly chat to online that I could actually meet if I went, that the temptation is extremely strong. Plus I'm sure it'd be a blast in itself.

Maybe when the next edition comes out. :)
