Who is going to SoCal GenCon?

I'll be there. Though I won't be exhibiting (unlike Indy). I may try and run a few DireKobold adventures while I'm there.

I will be there. I live three miles due south of the venue, and work about a mile east, so I'd better be there. ;-)

And yes, the venue is VERY close to Disneyland. In fact, Disney's California Adventure (a.k.a. "the other Disney Park - yes, the one that sucks so bad they can't GIVE tickets away for it") is literally across the street. DCA is adjacent to Disneyland proper (Disneyland is north of DCA and they're in the same mile-ish-square city block), though the entry gates are not directly across the street from the venue. But you're no more than a 10-15 minute walk from the gates.

i'm looking into diffrent methods to go free, either RPGA, GenCon LLC Volunteer, or what not. I cant afford to go same as this time.

Well, standard rate from Amtrak is $34 round trip from the San Deigo station (downtown), or $26 from Solana Beach (roughly the same distance from my place, but somewhat more convenient for other reasons, like free long-term parking at the station). So the question becomes whether avoiding traffic is worth the inconvenience of not having a car.

Not Amtrak. The San Diego and Orange County commuter rail systems have their own cars and locomotives, and their own fee schedules.

But travel light. If you must buy everything in sight, think about shipping it home instead of carrying it.
