Who needs a healer anyway!?

There's even a forum on this website. I've used it several times and we have met some pretty cool people, one of which is now a permanent member of our crew.

Even outside of items, you could give them a small number of free feats, maybe a multiclass giving them the healing ability once per day. However you do it I'm sure you can make it fit with the story. I have a group of only 3 and on my groups insistence sometimes run a DMPC but that is taxing I'll admit.
 

Alright so currently the game I am running has 2 pc's a seeker and a ranger. I run a 4th ed Dark Sun campaign "because its awesome", but i want to increase the difficulty but i know that these two will not survive with out a healer. Is there any well balanced artifact or something that can serve as a replacement of a healer or something. Any ideas to help me out?

You could give them two free bonus feats: Spirit Talker and Mending Spirit. That gives them spirit companions to block up the battlefield a bit, and they each get a 1/encounter minor action heal.
 

I'd seriously try to find two more players or run two companion characters. My general rule of thumb is always start the party with a leader and a defender and fill from there, preferably a controller next. This not only helps their survival chances, but opens the door for more creative and varied combat encounters.
