Who pays for your group's "Party Leader" t-shirt?

Actually, in all seriousness, I (the DM) often wear a t-shirt with "NPC" on the front and back. Or a t-shirt that says, "Dungeon Master" on the front left breast. Ordered them off of some web-site that I can't remember right now. CafePress?

When I was playing my paladin character, I wore a shirt that says, "Let the smiting begin."

We found that the "party role" T-shirts wear out awfully fast. We've opted for the Party Role Tattoos.

It's a bit more money, but they never wear out. Ever.

Personally, I have "DM" tattooed on my chest and "NPC" tattooed on my back.

Every time the group speaks to an NPC, I have to turn and face the wall before I reply.

But other than that, it's worked out really great for us.

Good luck!

Wow, my group makes me do that too. But I don't have a tattoo. And why do they point and giggle, do you suppose?

That reminds me; I've got to cut down on the indian food.

I have gotten shirts specifically for gaming with related humor. PVP's "I spent my reward on Ale and Whores" is an old favorite. One with "I make stuff up" for my DM days is another favorite. Since I run a Star Wars game set in the Rebellion, I recently picked up a shirt that has the Imperial logo on the front with the text "Imperial Domination", which I enjoyed taunting my players with.

If you're going to ask that your players pay for things, then there should be game dues from everyone as a standard. Also note on your list of rules that the DM has the final say on how the money is used, with a majority rules vote by all members. Some people may not like every choice, but that's life.

Unless you're all 12 and that's your allowence for the month. In which case, ditch the shirts. :)

Oh, and BiggusGeekus, we're not a roll-and-tell gaming group so no info about our thongs (which do say "I roll Twenties"...)

Twilight Zone...

Folks-

I genuinely feel like reading this thread is a bit like entering the Twilight Zone. I assumed that the original question was a joke, but Driddle seems quite serious. No offense, Driddle, but this whole concept seems pretty outrageously bizarre to me. Does your group seriously wear these shirts every time you play? Or, are you perhaps a troll..? ;) It just sounds too weird for me to believe.
