I can't think of any graphic novel adaptation of Niven's work outside of one of the Ringworld works. There was a heavily illustrated version of The Patchwork Girl , which was a Gil the ARM story.

Edit: Found it.

The Gil the Arm stories are great. I never saw a graphic novel for them, but they are collected in a book called Flatlander.

There is only one animated thing by Larry Niven that I know of. The old Star Trek cartoon had one episode adapted from the niven story The Soft Weapon(I think not sure on the title). It is quite interesting to note that according to this cartoon K'Zinti are in the star trek universe. I can only imagine a Klingon K'Zinti war would be intense.

Yep, and the fact that Larry Niven put the Kzinti in the Star Trek cartoon is the reason the Kzinti race was in the Star Fleet Battles game.

thanks for the info. but the one i remember was definately in color. i have not read any of the gil arm books but here is what i remember from the comic:

gil is sitting at a bar holding a shot glass with his psychic arm.
a girl comes along and is impressed.
he explains he got it after his real arm was replaced.
they sleep together and the next day he goes back to work.
he meets an old girlfriend at work who can read minds.
she reads his mind and sees that they were sleeping together.

i don't remember much after that.
