So, as it turns out, it was a caching issue for me after all. For some reason it didn't 'take' despite several forced reloads, which was why I was left with the only logical conclusion in the chain of culprits, that being Flash.

I still don't like it, though.

I'm mostly ambivalent about the new design. The retro art is amusing since I'm drinking a throwback Mountain Dew now, so it's all meta and stuff.

I am not sure what is supposed to be better about this. I think the ad part is too big. I don't need links to D&D Encounters or the Character Builder every time I visit the website, either.
I would like to see more of the articles at first, but currently I can only see that by scrolling down.

I suppose the design is more directed at people to find out about D&D in general, and not frequent DDI users. The Player and the Dungeon master sites are more useful for that. I think I have to move my bookmarks.
