So, as it turns out, it was a caching issue for me after all. For some reason it didn't 'take' despite several forced reloads, which was why I was left with the only logical conclusion in the chain of culprits, that being Flash.

I still don't like it, though.

Not a fan.

The whole "The box is back" also looks like false advertising if you're an old school player who doesn't pay attention to the whole repacking new material with an old cover as a nodd to the old schoolers.

I'm mostly ambivalent about the new design. The retro art is amusing since I'm drinking a throwback Mountain Dew now, so it's all meta and stuff.

Well... I guess technically the box IS back... just the contents are different. :P

I am not sure what is supposed to be better about this. I think the ad part is too big. I don't need links to D&D Encounters or the Character Builder every time I visit the website, either.
I would like to see more of the articles at first, but currently I can only see that by scrolling down.

I suppose the design is more directed at people to find out about D&D in general, and not frequent DDI users. The Player and the Dungeon master sites are more useful for that. I think I have to move my bookmarks. :)
(If I only could tell Firefox's auto-completion to update that, too!)
