Whole lotta lurkin' goin' on

I wonder how many of those users haven't been logged in for more than a year or that only logged in for a week from their creation date. I know that I've got tons of accounts scattered across the internet and every so often I'll rediscover some site that caught my fancy a few years back and discover a still-active login.

Is there any culling going on at ENWorld? Can you lose your id through inactivity?

Nah, generally not - and likely not ever if you have posted. (Apart from the whole boards having to start over due to complete software changes like in '02, of course, but I don't see that happening again any time soon.)

This is exactly what I was going to ask.

Has there ever been a culling of inactive and/or unused IDs here at Enworld?

Man, that is a lot of posts per day. I just started posting a lot recently. Plus there was a 3.5 month period where I didn't post at all (as I was travelling throughout Europe). I wonder would it would take for me to get that high!

Well I have been a member for 744 days. With an average of 63.61 posts per day that means I would have to be at 47,325.84 posts by the end of the day. Since I only have 6 hours left in the day, that means I have to post 7887.64 times per hour! Or 131.46 per minute! Or 2.19 per second!

Looks I got a lot of work ahead of me. But that would give me both records.

P.S. my last post was number 300!! YAY!!! That makes Mista Collins a happy panda.
