Yeah. I guess many of them picked either EN World default avatars or the same ones they use (or wanted to use) elsewhere.

ACtually, I was ready to reveal everything at Origins this year. We had organized a Origins dinner with a bunch of people from EN World and some of my friends. But excepot for one guy, I'd already knew everyone that was there so the secret remained a secret.

Now, what I wonder is why people who lurk so extensively that they've never made a post register at all. When I was just a young lurker, I didn't register for a few months until I was ready to post. Has ENWorld changed so you have to register in order to access all of the forums?

I'd assume that they have certain threads or Story Hours that they might want to follow and therefore they register to subscribe.

Lurking is a good way to stay informed and not make a fool of yourself. I read ENWorld for two years before I ever opened an account. After I signed up my postcount stayed under 5 for another six months. Only recently* did I start posting regularly.

Hopefully my plan worked and I'm not making a fool of myself very often.
