Why aren't you voting?

Let's see if we can increase the vote count and profile of the election with some more prominent, front page news bytes for Friday, and perhaps Saturday and Sunday, too.

Thanks!! :D

I voted at noon the first day -- and saw that it already for me, OVER!!

Last place beckons!!

....and I really put a lot of effort into my nomination.....

Heh, that pretty well sums up how I've done in the past ones.

But if it's any consolation, I voted for you. It was a good nomination speech.

So what this past year did you not think should be nominated and what should have been nominated in its place?

I know this wasn't directed at me but I would say the new Warhammer RPG didn't really desrve to win as much as it did.

That being said I voted for 5 people who were in last place. Popularity contests irritate me.

We just nominate the books, the winners are selected by the fans.......

Read my reviews, if you can't figure it out from that then no list of nominations will do that.
Indeed, that's exactly what I did. But you do realize that there are other potential nominees, and not just you, right?
And I its going to stop being about voting for the best judge,
I don't know what that means. Definition of "best", in this context?

Having the Ennies judges be a "faceless entity" does run somewhat counter to the goal of increased transparency, no?
Quoted for emphasis. This is definitely an either/or situation.

Then read their reviews. And if you can't get enough info or want more, ask them questions. If you really wanted to more inforamtion on a judge, there are ways to get it. At this point though it doesn't seem like that is what you want to do.

Oh, for crying out loud. If I read your reviews, do you not think I read other nominees reviews if they were available? Of course I did. Quit being so obtuse, Crothian.

Indeed there are. I'm just pointing out some suggestions to make good information more readily available, thus making voting easier, thus resulting in a possible higher turnout rate (assuming that it's important, in which a certain rather blunt post made it sound).

I don't really care about the Ennies all that much to start grilling the nominees with questions and then hoping for an adequate response by maybe a couple of them by the time the voting deadline rolls around to formulate an informed opinion and choice.
At this point though it doesn't seem like that is what you want to do.
That's right. There's only so far I'm going to bother before I hit my apathy line.

I'm the same way, but with your responses. If you don't care about the ENnies, why should the people involved care about your questions? Asking questions takes a few minutes, this isn't like hour and hours time.
