That would be them. However, despite having the game logo on the cover, the books do not have a single stat in them. If anything, they are similar to the old Greyhawk folio -- a skeleton of a world laid out for the DM to develop in any direction he chooses. It's not going to appeal to folks who want every last detail drawn up for them (**cough**forgottenrealms**cough**), but for those DMs who really like to develop their own material, it provides a great starting place.

While the geography looks very similar, the history is radically different from Earth's. It has everything from sentient dinosaurs breeding humans for food and slave labor to a great war between four magical empires. This is a big plus in my book, because I get the familiarity of the world without feeling tied to history (and I can be very anal about my history).
