There is a limiter there. I don't need to know it. That magic is rare and the ability to use it rarer says that there's a limiter.
There is no limiter, Max. It's my example, you don't get to tell me what it has or doesn't. There does appear to be a strong limiter on people asking about it, though, so you can have that for free.

I really liked the recent UA for subclasses. I just think that there also needs to be a Psion class with subclasses created. Having the Soulknife be a Rogue subclass makes a lot of sense to me.
Well, the Soulknife in the previous version was a rogue as well. I really preferred the original versions of these subclasses. The Wizard was cool, Aberrant Mind was awesome, the Fighter was meh, and the Rogue was cool. Now they're all involved in a new dice mechanic that I disagree with how it functions, and a batch of abilities that can be used pretty much infinitely if you roll well, I mean bad, because lower rolls are better for some reason.

So, um, what was the discussion of psionics on? I didn't like the recent UA.
Way back at the start of the thread it was pretty much "No one can agree on what they want for psionics so that's why its not being a full class"

I have absolutely no idea where this thread has ended up since, mind.

Yes, people have very different ideas on what they'd like in a Psion class. I am currently collaborating with another person online to design what we would like to have, but it will probably no be as high quality as something WotC could make.

I actually like the boost coming when you roll low. Rolling low always sucks, it is the worst part of the game in my opinion. With this mechanic though, rolling low comes with a benny to help make it slightly better, and the downside of losing a die comes with the upside of having rolled your maximum value.

So that mechanic is quite appealing to me.

I also like the fighter the best out of the UA subclasses so far, it feels the most complete to me. The rogue is... just lacking it doesn't really do anything I would really want, and the fact that they almost never get the chance to roll their Psi Die is weird to me.
