Why would/did you become a community supporter?

I originally got a community supporter account as a perk of being a newshound, but have since donated many times over the regular annual rate during fund drives and the like. I'm on staff now for the ENnies, but still contribute annually even though the account is part of the staff package. I'd contribute even if I wasn't on staff, as the extra functions are nice to have when needed. The title thingy is fun, but unnecessary.

I really enjoy the community here and would want to help support it. I do that to things I like.

Haven't been able to afford it yet, though.

Two reasons. I like the extra features (Search, PM). ENWorld deserves my support.
ditto. i finally ponied up during the "beg drive". when it looked like they would cancel the whole shooting match.

I use EN World far more than any other gaming resource, including my core books. While the extras are neat, I honestly rarely use them. But search sure is handy when I do need it.

Why wouldn't/havn't you?
Are you happy with your decision?

Honestly, I got one because I wanted a custom title. :p And access to the search function doesn't hurt.

But seriously, it was because I had a change in fortune for the better and decided that the best way to show gratitude was to donate to causes I cared about. I am very happy with my decision. :D

couple of reasons:
1) I missed the "beg drive", and wanted to help keep the site up.

2) finally got a job :D
