Why would/did you become a community supporter?

I became a community supporter because I spend a great deal of time here and felt it would only be fair to help financially support what I enjoy.

(And I like having a custom title. :p )

Why did/would you get a CS account? Are you happy with your decision?

I did, and I am; I'll renew it, too. I've gotten a lot of info and pleasure from the site, so much that I thought I should pay for it. And I wanted to help out for the new server.

But enough about the sisters Wilson...

I became a community supporter two years ago. Last year I renewed, but I did it too early and it didn't show. No big thing to me -- I know the money went to the right place and that was all that mattered to me. This year, sadly, I can't due to financial loses.

I kinda look upon this like me pledging to NPR -- I use the service a lot, it costs money, I like the community, and it's not a burdern to send a few bucks to help keep it going.

So as soon as my finances get straightened out again (probably next summer), I'll send money again. Simple as that. :)
