So according to Wii at E-3, they have Zelda, Dragon Quest and an EXCLUSIVE Final Fantasy coming for the Wii.

Im actually excited about a game system launch. How weird is that.

Also, Metroid, Mario Galaxy, and Red Steel (especially Red Steel) all look great.

The graphics at E-3 looked AMAZING.

Ok... just wanted to let folks know about the RPGs. I hadnt heard about the Final Fantasy OR the Dragon Quest games coming for Wii.

Did you just discover this, or is this like an old post suddenly new (E3 was back in May).

Anyway, the Dragonquest game is apparently more an action (sword fighting) game than RPG

And the FF is a sequel to the GC Crystal Chronicles game. Which is, eh.

I did... I got a thing from gamespot which is the full Sony, MS and Nintendo press releases from E-3 on video.

And I have to say, the Wii really geeked me. The graphics were much better than I expected, the control interface looked interesting, and the games were introguing.

They even had a disaster movie type game.

Im going to be so broke later this year lol.

Well, I saw about 30 seconds of footage, but the gamespot editors have Dragonquest listed under RPG on the system. Of course THEY saw about 2 minutes of footage from that game so they might be making the same assumption I am, because of DQ's legacy, until they learn more.

I also think the Wii is going to make quite a few RPGs that play like action games because they're using the Wii controller but that they will still be RPGs. Sort of like how some people prefer to call Diablo an action game not an RPG.

But either way, it's Dragonquest man! Dude hitting a stone golem with a sword!

The only way they could get me to not buy that game is if it turned out to be a rhythym-based dancing game or something.

Oh yeah, I will be watching.

I watched the E-3 presentations from all three companies and for some reason the Nintendo games all grabbed me more. There was one or two MS games and a few PS3 games that I wanted, but *every* game Nintendo showed made me want to play it.

Maybe this means I am officially a grognard ;)

Namco supposedly has an RPG in the works for Wii. I'm hoping it's a Tales game, but logic would dictate Baten Kaitos.
