When they took away the flexible Clockwork spell list they should have improved the Bastion of Law feature to make up for it.
They still have access to Aid and Wall of Force so it's still not too bad.
Yeah still a sorcerer as well.

You don't get extra spells. Otherwise I almost agree. Personally we like extra spells.
What the best one is varies but the wild, dragon and aberrent mind all have a claim.
It's close enough I wouldn't argue over any of those 3 claiming to be the best.
New wild magic table is mostly positive. I like the dragon sorcerer as a control one as well.
I would also put the Sorcerer as an S tier class overall.
Although it's not been updated yet, Divine Soul is still a challenger for that title, buffs to the Clerics spells benefited DS as well and the base class gets more spells then they use too, so you can really cherry pick your favorites from both Sorcerer & Cleric spell lists.
I also think Spellfire is really good, kind of like the mid way point between between Dragon & Divine Sorcerers. Just needs tweaking and a Summon Spell on its list.
And... could we use the Heroic Inspiration to reroll that d100 to avoid these bad results or get a better result?
It's d100, not d10*10 + d10.Seems you can as long as d100 counts as a dice. Nitpick rolling percentile dice may not count a legit d100 would.

Also, you can get a single d100.

Probably even better that way.I'm aware. If you rolled percentile dice a gardens dm would let you reroll 1. A real d100 you could reroll.
Probably even better that way.
Choose between these 10 or those 10
Vs
Random out of 100.
