Will psionics be in PHB 2, and when is PHB2 released? :)

Where do you get that, we already have an arcane everything:

-Bard: leader

-Swordmage: defender

-Warlock: striker

-Wizard: controller

/snip.
So, if I follow your train of thought, once all the roles are filled for one power source, that automatically mean that the power source is completed. I don't think so.

I could see a power source with:
1 leader, 2 strikers, and 2 controllers;
or 1 leader, 1 striker, 1 defender, and 2 controllers;
or 2 defenders, 1 striker, and 1 controller.

Okay, that would be fine by me, but again I ask, why do you think the Sorcerer would be arcane and what book would it debut in (I think it will be primal in the PHB II)? Also, what book will the Bard (arcane leader) debut in?

We know the Swordmage will be in a FR product.
They mentioned the word spell in R&C for Sorcerers, that's why I change my POV.

I think Bard and Sorcerer will debut in PHB II as stated above in SURE BET.

I'm not sure, I'm just asking why you think the sorcerer will be arcane?

I really don't see the sorcerer sharing the same power source as the wizard, especially as they have stated they really want to differentiate it from the wizard.

Note: they have also described the sorcerer as having lingering elemental protection and what not after using a power (wreathed in flame etc) – I could see that as primal.

I would like to see the elements linked with the primal source, but what Shado posted in page 1 changed my mind:

I keep seeing people list the Sorc as a Primal caster, but I don't know why. Elementals are arcane territory, and what little talk we've seen on Sorcs directly reference elemental powers. Conversely, Druids are confirmed for Primal and it's mentioned that they are lite on elemental powers. (Strong weather.)
Wizards cast Fire balls and Lightning blasts.

But what R&C also state is that the Sorcerer's magic will be inborn. That could be a strong indicator for primal too. I think both choices are attractive.

I think there's a good chance Elemental abilities will either be part of Primal or its own power source.

Elementalist is almost certainly a planned class for 4e - Races & Classes mentions it in the Dwarf entry alongside clerics, paladins, fighters, barbarians, rangers, and wizards. I consider it unlikely to be an Arcane class, as it needs something to differentiate it from Wizards.

The Druid's focus is on shapeshifting, but it sounds like they'll retain the ability to shapeshift into Elementals. The new D&D Miniatures version of the Heirophant of the Seventh Wind is a primal caster with many boosts for Beasts and Elementals.

Yeah, forgot to mention him, so I'm wondering how the Sorcerer (striker?) and the Elementalist (controller?) will pan out for Primal.
