D&D General Willpower and ... Charisma ??

le Redoutable

Ich bin El Glouglou :)
to say that, Charismatic people gain influence ( Power ) over ... less charismatic ones
...
so my sister is more charismatic than me, and often fights me in a Will vs Will that she usually wins
...
but beware ! the beast within rages and claims freedom from servitude ( grrr! )

Legend
I always think the wisdom/charisma need a cleaner break. I like willpower being a bit of both.

Charisma is likeability and force of personality
Wisdom is mental strength and perception.

will power is kinda mental strength AND force of personality.

The High Aldwin
We switched things up, making Clerics CHA-based casters to go with Paladins and Warlocks, calling it "Conviction".

Wisdom - Your connection with the world.
Charisma - Your connection with others, including gods/patrons.

This way, Druids and Rangers fit nicely into primal/natural spells. (Wisdom)
Wizards, Bards, and Sorcerers fall into arcane spells. (Intelligence)
Clerics, Paladins, and Warlocks are for divine/otherworldly spells. (Charisma)

I think its split just fine. You use Cha to influence, and you use Will perceive.
