Reduce the size of your recycle bin. Also, check your internet temp files.

If you use windows explorer, you should be able to right click on each folder name and check its properties to see how much junk is in there.

it's probably you internet temp files which you can find in your internet explorer under tools/internet options.

another alternative is spending all of $25 and pick up a 20gig drive....lol

Win 98 is far smaller than 2-3 Gig. At work I care for several Win 98 machines with only 2 Gig drives, with many apps installed as well. Check the web for shareware/demos. I use a small program called diskSpace Explorer which will give you a pie chart showing each direcory size, with clicking a directory to give a pie chart for that particular directory.

delete your temp dir, delete your temp internet files, delete your cache, defrag and you'll be fine..

your swap file might be huge as well..

thanks guys i was just totaly confused that windows would take up that much space.

Also hehe i should get a bigger HD 4 gig is just trash now adays.

My drivespace utility doesnt work either if thats what your going by. Maybe a bug in Win 98. If you go to My computer and click on C drive icon once the actual space used and total should show at bottom.
